The DCD690Kl features two distinct modes for project-specific performance--a low mode that delivers 0 to 500 RPM for 310 inch-pounds of torque and a high mode that delivers 0 to 1,500 RPM for 80 inch-pounds of torque. With a 3/8-inch plastic, ratcheting chuck, this drill/driver has a durable, right angle transmission with sealed ball bearing for a longer tool life and 320 unit watts out of maximum power for heavy-duty applications such as turning large bits and fasteners. Weighing only 3.9 pounds with the battery, the lightweight design minimizes user fatigue.

It's powered by DEWALT's compact li-ion batteries, which are compatible with the existing system of DEWALT 18-volt power tools produced since 1996.
